JUNE 26, 2020 UPDATE
The Houston Permitting Center will begin limiting the number of people in the building to those with appointments only starting Monday, July 6, 2020. Please make an appointment if you need to visit Auto Dealers Detail. We now offer the ability to schedule an appointment for Business Licensing, Individual Licensing, and Wrecker Licensing. To make an appointment, visit www.houstonpermittingcenter.org and click on SCHEDULE. Please select the appropriate license type and follow the on screen directions.
The building is still requiring any person over the age of 2 to pass a temperature check and wear a facemask to gain entry into the building.
Please continue to wear a facemask and practice social distancing when visiting Auto Dealers Detail. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping the public and our staff safe.
As a reminder, we also accept completed applications with payments via mail. If you are sending in a new application, please make sure you have your criminal background check (fingerprints) completed if your license type requires one.

COVID-19 UPDATE
In light of the circumstances we are facing with COVID-19, the Auto Dealers Detail has made changes to how we operate to keep the public and our staff safe. Out of an abundance of caution, Auto Dealers will be moving to appointments only until further notice.
To lower the risk of exposure, we will be accepting applications via mail to provide applicants an alternative method of acquiring required licenses.
Please complete the appropriate application form for your license type. Please print, sign, and submit the completed application along with all required documents and payment. The application will not be accepted with any scratch outs or crossed out information and must include payment. Only business checks, cashier’s checks, and money orders will be accepted forms of payment; be sure to include your full name and driver’s license number on your payment.
