Commercial Pool Permit
A commercial pool includes those in hotels, apartments, condos, schools, natatoriums, spas, wading pools, public interactive water feature and fountain (PIWF), amusement parks, etc.
The Houston Health Department responds to complaints concerning improperly maintained swimming pools/spas, and reviews and regulates all new commercial swimming pool/spa constructions to ensure compliance with Texas State standards for public pools and spas. The bureau also regulates the construction and demolition of residential swimming pools and investigates violations reported to our office.
